MORE SANFORD FILMING --
Today we shot at RUBY DEE'S home in Sanford. RUBY is blowing me away with each scene she films. Truly fabuluous!!!! Mayor Lesard stopped by along with local friend and supporter John Williams of Budweiser and the Wayne Dentsch Distributorship in Sanford. I have been advised that Budweiser beer is the drink of choice for the wrap party (a good thing considering we had no beer budget). TESSIE SANTIAGO and myself did a lovely walk n'talk scene along the Sanford Riverwalk in FRIGID temperatures. She was a champ and it was a beautiful shot walking along the St. John's River. Back in Sanford tomorrow for more filming at Maude's house....before finishing the last 2 days in Orlando. SUNDAY ORLANDO SENTINEL --- keep an eye out for the article on THE WAY BACK HOME! Roger Moore was on set again (5 times now) interviewing Ruby today. We are so fortunate to have Roger's interest as it is sooo important to include the local community in what we are doing with this film. Thanks again, Roger!
