MY PRODUCING PARTNER (PAUL SIRMONS) ---

I want you all to know something about what i've learned INDEPENDENT Fimmaking to be about. Last Friday night, the night before our final day of shooting, my partner PAUL SIRMONS, found out we were about 1,000 feet short of 35mm film. As it happened, the day before we had shot more footage as a result of gorgeous light to be taken advantage of. Anyway, Paul took it upon himself to find 35mm film. He found it in MIAMI and drove all night to get 2 cannisters of film so we could finish this film. His lovely wife and our film's ACCOUNTANT (SHERRY...another godsend), joined him for the arduous all night trip to have film ready for a 9AM shoot. I kid you not, there was not ONE OUNCE of frustration, blame, NOTHING...despite being at the end of an exhausting process. They did what needed to be done. These ACTS are the things that make INDEPENDENTS special, unique, and worth following. They are full of blood, sweat, and tears. I am so grateful to have Paul and Sherry in my life and supporting me in this journey.
